Band 5 Rotational Mental Health Occupational Therapist
Location: Wirral | Start Date: ASAP
Role and Rotation
This is a rotational post based at Springview Mental Health Unit, Clatterbridge Hospital. You will have the opportunity to rotate across each of the wards at Springview, which include:
* Three acute adult mental health assessment wards
* A ward for people with dementia
* Specialist inpatient eating disorder unit (SEDU)
* A Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
What you’ll do
You will be part of a rotation offering diverse opportunities to gain a wide range of experience working with people with many different mental health conditions. Within this team, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to service users aged 18 and above who are experiencing acute mental health challenges. Key responsibilities include:
* Conducting holistic assessments and interventions, and supporting with discharge planning.
* Managing a diverse and complex caseload.
* Enhancing the lives of service users through facilitating meaningful therapeutic interventions.
You’ll work closely with our Occupational Therapists, experienced OT Technical Instructors (OTTIS) and our integrated multidisciplinary team (MDT) to ensure a seamless and supportive care experience for every individual.

Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours/week), Monday to Friday
