Interviews are scheduled to take place on 16th June 2026.
An opportunity has arisen at University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire NHS Trust for a Locum Consultant Neurosurgeon with an interest in Neuro Oncology.
As one of the largest and busiest NHS teaching trusts in the country, UHCWs two hospitals care for over a million people from across Coventry, Warwickshire and beyond. As a Trust we combine a number of key roles: District general hospital services for Coventry and Rugby, the local population. Tertiary centre for Coventry and Warwickshire, providing complex specialist services for the sector and beyond. Major Trauma Centre (Level 1). All medical specialities including renal transplantation and a major Oncology Unit (the Arden Cancer Centre) are housed on site. Provider of innovative and leading‑edge clinical services to Coventry and Warwickshire. The clinical base for The University of Warwick Medical School. The Trust has two main hospital sites: University Hospital in Coventry and the Hospital of St Cross in Rugby. The main University Hospital site is a large PFI hospital which ensures a guaranteed equipment replacement programme, so imaging equipment is regularly updated to maintain a very modern department.
