Whitgift is a leading independent day and boarding school for boys, with approximately 1520 pupils including over 100 boarders. It is set in an attractive 48-acre parkland site in South Croydon enjoying excellent links to London, Surrey and the south coast.
During the summer holidays Whitgift runs its own summer school for international students, utilising all its fantastic facilities and modern boarding house. Whitgift Summer School, with its innovative and exciting English language course and activities, both involving English speaking students, is designed to appeal to girls and boys aged 11 - 17 from all over the world.
We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, committed and dynamic Course Director who will report to the Director of International Education and will manage the operational and admissions aspect of the Whitgift Summer School. The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of International Education; line manage the Summer School Senior Leadership Team and have proven managerial experience in student-centred courses for learners of English. They must be inspirational and professional with the ability to motivate and support staff in this energetic and exciting learning environment. The successful applicant will be expected to be flexible and innovative in their approach to working practices and must deliver a high-quality programme throughout all areas over the summer.
The expected start date is Monday 1st September 2025.
