Your new company
A Financial Markets team is seeking a skilled Fund Accountant to join their team on a 15‑month fixed‑term contract. This hybrid role is based in London and offers the opportunity to play a key part in delivering high‑quality fund accounting and reporting for a major UK pension investment organisation
Your new role
1. Reviewing daily NAVs in line with accounting standards and internal controls
2. Managing oversight of Operating Partners and Third‑Party Administrators
3. Ensuring data completeness, accuracy and integrity within the MSCI portfolio management system
4. Supporting internal and external stakeholders with high‑quality data and insight
5. Contributing to both our Investment and Fiduciary functions
What you'll need to succeed
6. Part-Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
7. A solid understanding of private equity investment accounting
8. Technical expertise in private markets, ideally from a fund administrator or asset management environment
9. Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data‑driven modelling)
10. A passion for financial reporting
11. An analytical mindset and excellent communication skills
12. The ability to challenge constructively and provide clarity to stakeholders
13. A proactive, organised, and adaptable approach
