Overview
We are looking for a Store Manager Designate to join our retail field team covering our home stores across North & East London and the Essex area. This role involves working in a variety of stores to gain exposure to different markets, layouts and turnover before taking responsibility for your own store. The Store Manager Designate role provides cover across different locations to support the day-to-day running of the required stores.
Responsibilities
* Driving sales and achieving targets
* Delivering a high standard of service to customers that is expected by the BHF
* Leading and developing a team of staff and volunteers
* Deputising for Store Managers
* Stock generation and management
* Visual merchandising
* Recruitment and training of staff and volunteers
* Providing cover and support to various stores; willingness to travel to various sites is essential
* Full UK driving licence is required
Qualifications and Requirements
* Good commercial awareness
* Experience of leading and developing teams
* Ability to achieve sales targets
* Committed to achieving the highest retail standards at all times
* Results driven but with a recognition of right result, right way
* Excellent customer service skills
* Ability to build rapport with people
* Previous retail experience is essential
