An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior or Associate level Electrical Engineer to join a growing and highly respected Building Services team in Leeds. This role offers the chance to work on a broad range of high:profile projects across healthcare, education, defence, commercial office, and residential sectors.
You will play a key role in delivering innovative electrical design solutions from concept through to completion while supporting junior engineers and working closely with multidisciplinary teams.
The Role
As a Senior / Associate Electrical Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
Leading electrical building services designs across multiple projects Producing reports, specifications, calculations, and technical designs Delivering projects through all RIBA stages Carrying out electrical calculations using industry:standard software Coordinating with architects, contractors, and other consultants Attending client and design team meetings Undertaking site inspections and technical reviews Supporting and mentoring junior engineers Advising clients on sustainability and energy:efficient solutions Ensuring compliance with current regulations and industry standards Project Sectors
You will work across a diverse range of projects including:
Healthcare Education Defence Commercial Office Residential Developments Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should have:
Degree, HNC, or HND in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Experience within a building services consultancy environment Strong technical design experience across electrical building services Knowledge of current regulations and British Standards Experience using software such as Amtech, Dialux, or Relux Revit/BIM experience desirable Strong communication and client:facing skills Ability to manage workload across multiple projects Chartered status or working towards Chartership desirable Benefits
