Summary
We are seeking a Purchasing Manager to join our dynamic team in the UK. In this role, you will play a crucial part in optimizing our procurement processes and ensuring that we maintain a robust supply chain. Your contributions will directly support our mission of delivering high-quality products to our customers.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement purchasing strategies that align with company goals.
* Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery of products.
* Analyze market trends to identify potential suppliers and negotiate favorable terms.
* Oversee inventory management to optimize stock levels.
* Collaborate with logistics teams to streamline operations.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
* Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular evaluations.
* Prepare reports on purchasing activities for senior management.
* Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or similar role in wholesale or retail environments.
* Strong knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain management.
* Proficiency in Net Suite ERP system.
* Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful supplier agreements.
* Ability to analyze data and market trends effectively.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Experience in logistics is a plus.
