Norma Davies Opticians is an independent optician specialising in high-end eyewear, outstanding clinical care, and an exceptional customer experience. Established in 1975, we are passionate about what we do and travel to international trade fairs to source the best and most exclusive eyewear brands from around the world.
The Role
We are currently looking for an Optical Assistant to work across our Carmarthen, Morriston and Llandysul practices. This is a varied role where no two days are the same.
Applicants should be confident, engaging, and comfortable using modern technology, with excellent attention to detail. Creativity and strong communication skills are essential, as part of the role will involve managing our social media presence and making warm follow-up calls with clients.
Day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Meeting and welcoming clients
* Booking appointments and managing the diary
* Using advanced technology to pre-screen clients
* Adjusting and repairing glasses
* Creating and posting social media updates to engage with our community
* Making follow-up calls to clients to ensure their needs are met
* Various administrative tasks
Working Hours
Monday to Friday: 9.00 – 5.30
Saturday: 8.30 – 12.30
Closed Sundays and all Bank Holidays
