IT Assistant Location: Ammanford We are seeking a proactive IT Assistant provide essential technical support across our organisation, helping to maintain our IT systems, troubleshoot issues, and assist with the day-to-day IT operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about technology and eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced, supportive environment. What you’ll do: Provide first-line support to staff for hardware, software, telecommunications and network issues. Set up and configure computers, printers, and other peripherals. Install and update software and security patches. Ensure protection for the company systems in place including Firewalls, Cyber Security etc. Maintain IT inventory and ensure accurate documentation. Assist with user account setup and management (email, access rights, etc.). Monitor system performance and report issues promptly. Support the implementation of new IT systems and upgrades. Maintain data backups and assist in disaster recovery procedures. Work closely with the IT Manager and other team members on various projects. Arrange external technical support where necessary What We’re Looking For: Good knowledge of Windows/Mac OS, Microsoft Office, O365 Admin Centre, Microsoft Entra, SQL and basic networking. Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365, and antivirus software is a plus. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently or as part of a team. A current driving licence as you may be required to support branches onsite from time to time.
