Account Manager - National Security
* Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 + bonuses
* Location: Cheltenham
* Clearance: Must hold enhanced DV / UKIC Clearance
Summary:
We are seeking an Account Manager to work within the National Security and Intelligence sector. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with key customer stakeholders, identifying and shaping new business opportunities, and ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standard. You’ll be working in a close-knit, collaborative team, with the opportunity to influence growth in a high-impact environment.
Responsibilities:
* Manage and own client relationships within a defined remit or customer area, outside of delivery projects.
* Identify and proactively shape new business opportunities with key clients.
* Leverage established relationships to ensure smooth onboarding and early sharing of resource requirements.
* Maintain and accurately forecast future work and pipeline for your customer area.
* Lead and manage bid activity, working with subject matter experts to create successful proposals.
* Collaborate with resource coordination teams to secure the right skills for successful delivery.
Required Experience:
* Previous customer or account management experience, or a strong desire to build a career in this area.
* Experience working within the National Security sector.
* Must hold the highest level of UK security clearance (enhanced DV / UKIC).
* Strong communication, relationship-building, and organisational skills.
