Business Administrator Apprenticeship.

Employer: The Dutton Group (Dutton FM).

Training Provider: Total Training Provision Limited.

Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity to join The Dutton Group, specifically within Dutton FM, undertaking varied duties in property management. You'll be working with a small, hardworking, and friendly team while gaining hands-on experience and professional training. The role is designed to grow with you, offering opportunities for increased responsibility throughout your apprenticeship.

Pay & Benefits:

* Annual wage: £14,722.50.
* Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (37.5 hours per week, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch).
* Flexibility: You may be required to work alternate Saturdays and, occasionally, hours outside the standard schedule.
* Progression: Pay may be negotiated and could increase after a successful probation period.
* Holiday Benefit: In addition to your holiday entitlement, you'll receive an extra day off for your birthday

Key Details:

* Duration: 18 months.
* Positions available: 1.
* Location: 6 Wood Street, Wakefield, WF1 2ED.

What You'll Do:

As an apprentice, you'll gain valuable business administration skills while working alongside experienced professionals.

Duties will include:

* Administering minor works and routine maintenance contracts.
* Coordinating Health & Safety reports across the portfolio.
* Obtaining contractor quotations and preparing client quotes.
* Instructing and liaising with contractors.
* Managing reactive and planned maintenance works.
* Attending meetings as required.
* Handling insurance claims.
* Answering phone calls with excellent customer service.
* Communicating with property owners, lettings managers, and tenants (both verbally and in writing).
* Updating company knowledge systems.
* Supporting administrative tasks and documentation.

Please note: This is not an exhaustive list, and additional tasks may be required to support company objectives.

Training & Development:

You'll complete the Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship.

* Provider: Total Training Provision Limited.
* Delivery: Blended learning (face-to-face & virtual).
* Support: Monthly meetings with a dedicated skills coach.

Requirements:

* Essential:
* GCSE English (Grade 4 or above).
* GCSE Maths (Grade 4 or above).
* Desirable skills:
* Strong communication skills.
* IT literacy.
* Attention to detail.
* Excellent organisation and administration skills.
* Teamworking ability.

Relevant qualifications and experience may allow the apprenticeship to be tailored to your knowledge.
