Salary: £95 - £115 per day

Job Summary:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing classrooms, maintaining order, and providing support to students in the absence of their regular teachers. The Cover Supervisor role is ideal for individuals who are looking to gain experience in education, are considering a career in teaching, or are looking for a rewarding role where they can make a difference.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring students remain on task with their learning.
- Manage classroom behaviour in accordance with school policies.
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure a productive learning environment.
- Provide support and guidance to students as needed, fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
- Assist with the organisation and distribution of learning materials.
- Liaise with teaching staff and school leadership to ensure continuity of education for students.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behaviour, and progress.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a school environment or with young people is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
- Adaptability and the ability to work in different classrooms and with different age groups.
- A proactive and positive approach to supporting students' learning.
