About the Agency
Leaders in Care are working with a highly rated Independent Fostering Agency in the North East / Yorkshire, seeking an experienced practitioner to join their stable service on a permanent basis as a supervising social worker.
Who We Are Looking For
Located in Leeds, you will cover the North East / Yorkshire (Richmond, Teesside, Middlesborough, Hartlepool & up to Northumberland). You will work in office once per week, the rest of the week is fully flexible.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting and managing approved foster carers
* Providing professional advice when necessary
* Contributing to business planning
* Supervising Support Workers and Social Work Students
* Working closely with social work staff and foster carers to ensure quality standards are met in all assessments
Requirements
* Social work qualification & registration to Social Work England
* 2+ years experience post-qualified in childrens services (prior fostering experience is an advantage)
Benefits
Generous salary up to £41,000 depending on experience, plus car and OOH allowance. Regular learning and development opportunities, generous holiday allowance of 27 days and flexible working schedule.
