Job Scope:
We are looking to recruit a PBS Practitioner to join our team at Leaf Complex Care. As a PBS Practitioner, you will provide clinical support within community and hospital settings. Your responsibilities include conducting behavioural assessments, developing Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSPs), and implementing these plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, individuals receiving support, and their families.
This role is based in Manchester, involving frequent travel within Manchester and surrounding regions, including York. You will support the PBS team in implementing system-wide PBS practices, manage a caseload, conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs), and work closely with clinicians to support PBSPs during crises.
You will also represent the organization at professional meetings, promote individualized support packages, and contribute to service improvements across the wider care network.
Do you have?
* BTEC or higher qualification in Positive Behaviour Support
* Minimum of two years' experience as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner
* Experience working with individuals with mental health conditions
* Experience managing caseloads across various settings, supporting individuals with disabilities, and working within multidisciplinary environments (desirable)
* Experience in reducing restrictions and least restrictive practices
* Driven, eager to grow, and passionate about making a positive impact
* UK driving licence
* Master's in ABA, PBS, disability studies, or autism (or equivalent)
* PROACT SCIP UK trainer certification
