Job Description
3. Manage a portfolio of budget holders, ensuring strong financial engagement and accountability.
4. Bridge resource gaps in planning, reporting, and analysis to maintain continuity and quality of financial outputs.
5. Ensure month-end accuracy and integrity of financial results.
6. Drive forecast accuracy through robust assumptions and proactive challenge.
7. Support projects focused on areas of concern regarding data and reporting accuracy.
8. Own budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting for designated areas, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
9. Deliver clear, actionable commentary on financial performance, highlighting risks, opportunities, and recommendations.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will have:
10. A full Accountancy Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) - please note we cannot consider applicants who are Qualified by Experience or still studying.
11. Proven experience in commercial finance business partnering; alternatively, strong audit experience will be valuable given the projects focus on improving reporting accuracy.
12. Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large data sets.
13. Availability to start at short notice.
