Overview
Door Supervisor – Seasonal/Casual Position (November-December). £15.57 per hour. Casual work / Zero Hour Contract. Paid weekly through our payroll. Access to a wide range of programs to train and develop you.
Responsibilities
* Join our dedicated operations team at The Royal Armouries. As a Door Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the comfort and safety of our customers during events.
* Manage crowds and respond to enquiries, ensuring compliance with venue policies and safe working procedures.
* Deliver exceptional customer service to our guests and clients.
* Present a smart, alert and visible security presence at the venue.
* Greet, assist and direct guests attending the event.
* Oversee crowd control, guide foot traffic, manage queues, maintain order, and report any anti-social behaviour.
* Acquire a good knowledge of the site layout and available facilities.
* Carry out pre- and post-event safety checks.
* Monitor external noise levels for the comfort of surrounding neighbours.
* Investigate any disturbances or incidents.
* Respond effectively to emergencies by raising the alarm, offering immediate and appropriate assistance, and supporting emergency services if needed.
* Comply with Health & Safety regulations.
Who you are / Qualifications
* An approachable manner with superb customer facing skills.
* Professional and appropriate personal presentation.
* The ability to handle confrontational situations whilst remaining calm and professional at all times.
* A strong and confident communicator.
* Enthusiastic, energetic and outgoing.
* An excellent team player with good initiative when working.
* Flexible approach to working and experienced in a similar role.
* Full SIA Door Supervisor license.
* Willing to work around venues distributing alcohol.
