Salary: £40,000 - 40,000 per year Requirements: Strong understanding of electronics with hands-on experience in hardware testing Proven experience testing PCB and High-Level Assembly (HLA) components Knowledge of both hardware and software used in electronic testing Experience with LabVIEW and TestStand is highly desirable Minimum of an HNC in Electronic or Electrical Engineering, or at least 5 years experience in electronics test engineering Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and train technicians Strong motivation to develop both technically and professionally Responsibilities: Support and maintain production test equipment for functional testing Contribute to new product introductions (NPI), ensuring smooth transition from development to production and alignment with customer specifications Generate, update, and maintain clear and accurate test instructions Provide training and guidance to Test Technicians, ensuring best practices are followed Manage Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and implement required updates to test processes and equipment Troubleshoot and resolve electronic hardware test issues Work with electronic test equipment (hardware and software) to ensure quality and compliance standards are met Technologies: Hardware Support More: We are JDR, a well-established recruitment agency acting on behalf of a client in the electronics manufacturing industry based in Newport.
