The Role
You’ll join a close-knit team of 6 in the welcoming Warrington office, working on various projects across different offices. As a Technical and Project Lead, reporting to the Company Director and Associate, you will lead and inspire a team of Engineers and Technicians. The role involves working on projects ranging from small value to £20m, covering commercial structures, public sector structures, rail, domestic, and temporary works design.
Your duties will include, although not be limited to:
1. Leading and managing a team of Engineers and Technicians
2. Mentoring, coaching, and training
3. Carrying out inspections, site surveys, and assessments of structures
4. Overseeing the design of civil & structural schemes
5. Preparing and managing project programmes, workload, and resources
6. Liaising with clients to verify project scope and ensure deliverables
7. Preparing tenders and fee proposals
8. Developing new and existing client relationships
9. Meeting with clients to promote skills
10. Development of new work opportunities and the team

What will I need to be considered for this vacancy?
* Relevant Civil or Structural Engineering degree
* Working towards Chartership Interview exam or Chartered (ICE or IStructE)
* Strong technical knowledge within assessment and design
* Considerable project management experience across various areas
* Experience within the UK industry with knowledge of Eurocode and Highway standards
* Client-focused approach with effective interpersonal and communication skills
* Strong commercial awareness
* UK driving licence and own transport
* Independent rights to live and work in the UK
