The Opportunity A recruitment consultancy is currently working with a well-established claimant personal injury practice based in Bolton Town Centre to recruit an experienced Litigation Paralegal or Solicitor to join their growing Litigation Department. Our client specialises in personal injury and credit hire litigation and has long-standing relationships with leading credit hire providers. The firm has built a reputation for maintaining a supportive and collaborative working environment, where junior and mid-level fee earners receive strong supervision, manageable caseloads, and genuine opportunities for career progression. Due to continued growth, the firm is looking to add an experienced litigation professional who can confidently manage a caseload of litigated Road Traffic Accident (RTA) claims, with a strong focus on claimant credit hire matters. The Role The successful candidate will manage their own caseload of litigated RTA and credit hire claims, handling matters from litigation through to settlement. You will work within a supportive litigation team, with access to experienced supervision and resources to assist in progressing cases effectively. Key Responsibilities Managing a caseload of Fast Track and Multi-Track litigated credit hire claims, with some Small Claims matters Handling all aspects of litigation, including liability and quantum disputes Maintaining proactive file management in accordance with internal procedures and case management systems Progressing claims efficiently toward settlement and ensuring timely file closure Meeting court deadlines and ensuring compliance with procedural requirements Liaising professionally with clients, credit hire organisations, experts, and counsel Requirements Minimum 2 years experience in RTA or Personal Injury litigation (essential) Demonstrable experience in claimant credit hire litigation (essential) Strong understanding of liability and quantum issues Experience handling Fast Track and Multi-Track matters (desirable) Experience using Proclaim case management system (desirable) Excellent organisational and time management skills Ability to manage a caseload independently while working as part of a team Salary & Benefits £30,000 £35,000 salary (depending on experience) Free gated parking Modern office environment with a staff breakout area including pool table, sofas, kitchen, and TV Excellent transport links 2 minutes from Bolton train station, with easy access to the A666 and M61 Friendly and supportive team environment with approachable management Ongoing training and clear career progression opportunities Manageable caseloads designed to maintain quality of work and staff wellbeing Working Arrangements Full-time, office-based role Some hybrid working available following successful completion of probation
