Job Title: Skilled Operatives
About the Role:
We are looking for reliable, hands‑on Skilled Operatives to join our busy precast concrete manufacturing facility in Skelmersdale. You’ll be working as part of a production team creating high‑quality precast concrete units for major construction and infrastructure projects.
This is a physical, fast‑paced role suited to someone who is practical, safety‑conscious, and confident working with tools, machinery, and technical instructions.
Location: Skelmersdale - Precast Manufacturing Factory
Pay Rate: Competitive rates
Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:00–18:00
Right to Work: You MUST have the legal right to work in the UK
Key Responsibilities of a Skilled Operative
1. Assisting with daily precast production
2. Using hand tools and factory equipment
3. Preparing moulds, reinforcement and materials
4. Pouring, finishing and quality‑checking concrete products
5. Following health & safety procedures at all times
Key Experience:
6. Ability to read a tape measure accurately
7. Reading and interpreting drawings
8. Basic joinery or shuttering experience
9. Forklift experience/licence
10. Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
