We are currently recruiting for an EO2 based in Ballykelly. The successful candidates will be required to start once the vetting paperwork, ANI clearance has been completed.

Key Responsibilities:
Main job activities include: – Mailbox Monitoring: Monitor incoming queries received into TradeExports, TradeAdmin and VS.Implementation mailboxes. Disseminate information and queries to both their own team, and other teams as necessary, actioning items when appropriate. Provide support to wider team and pass any complex or technical queries, which the team cannot respond to themselves, on to the appropriate person – e.g. DP or appropriate DVO (Approx. 40%). – Pet Travel and Pet Passport Administration – Administration of pet passports to participating practices and drafting responses to queries received. This will require control sheets to be processed by capturing the information on them onto a master spreadsheet. This is essential to keep a record of these documents and to allow for auditing by the Trade Governance team. It will also involve issuing out new control sheets to participating practices. Initial queries should be directed to DAERA Direct Armagh. However, more complex matters are referred to DAERA TradeExports mailbox for resolution. This is a mailbox managed by the team. The teams EO1 may contact the role holder if they require additional info or if they have any follow up tasks they wish to be completed. This work area will be led by the current EO1, with support from EO2 staff. Complex queries will be escalated as appropriate (Approx 20%). – Export Assembly Centre (EAC) Administration: Liaise with Branch DP, field staff and local offices to ensure all updates to existing EACs and new EACs are being recorded correctly onto Trade Programmes published list. This will require contact with Group staff from local DVO offices, and occasional contact with Field DVO vets. The level of contact fluctuate based on demand from the public, but it is anticipated to be at least once a week (Approx 20%). – National Disease Clearances: Administration and daily dissemination of NDC reports and supplementary documentation (Approx 10%). – Web Updates: Undertake ‘DRUPAL’ training to assist in drafting web updates required by the team (Approx 10%).
Essential Criteria applicants must have:
5 GCSEs including English and Maths and 2 A-levels
Excellent IT skills, including use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Excellent communication skills.
Proven ability to use own initiative.
