A fantastic opportunity has arisen with a public services client based at their headquarters in Penrith. The role of Finance Assistant is an integral member of the team. The new appointee will provide financial and administrative support to the Financial Services and Treasury Management functions.
Reporting to the Financial Services Manager, you will join a well-established and qualified team.
Typical duties will include:
Processing and management of the general ledgerBank reconciliationsManagement of the balance sheet control accountsPosting daily journals Processing credit notesAssisting with budget management and year-end / audit
What you'll need to succeed
Previous transactional accounting experience in a similar role
Excellent IT andmunication skills
Team player, drive toplete tasks on a timely basis
What you'll get in return
Salary £24,222-£28,653 (dependent on experience)
Flexitime - Monday to Friday 7am -10pmHybrid working
