Contract: Apprenticeship - 37.5 hours per week - opportunity to be kept on permanent at the end of contract

SENbrook Education Ltd is offering an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Recruitment & Onboarding Co-ordinator to join our team and develop a career in recruitment, HR, and compliance within the education and care sector.
This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, detail-focused, and keen to learn about safer recruitment, safeguarding, and onboarding processes while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.
About the Role Under the guidance of the Managing Partner and senior colleagues, you will support the recruitment and onboarding process, helping to ensure all appointments meet statutory, regulatory, and organisational requirements.
You will receive full training and ongoing support while developing practical experience in recruitment administration, compliance checks, and candidate care.
Key Responsibilities (with Training & Support) Support the coordination of recruitment activity in line with safer recruitment procedures
Assist with drafting and posting job adverts on job boards and social media
Help screen applications and organise candidate information
Support interview scheduling and communication with candidates and managers
Maintain accurate records on the applicant tracking system (ATS) and HR system
Assist with onboarding paperwork and pre-employment checks, including DBS documentation
Support audits and compliance reporting
Ensure recruitment records are accurate, confidential, and GDPR-compliant
Candidate Experience & Communication Act as a friendly and professional point of contact for candidates
Respond to basic candidate queries with support from the team
Communicate clearly and professionally via email and telephone
Handle sensitive information with care and discretion
Safeguarding Learn and follow SENbrooks safeguarding and safer recruitment policies
Understand the importance of safeguarding children and young people
Escalate concerns to senior staff in line with training and procedures
