Blackstone Recruitment is working with a Private organisation that is recruiting a Psychologist to join their high-end stress management and burnout recovery retreat based in Plymouth, South Devon. This is a permanent job to start soon. Job Summary As a Therapist at the Retreat, you will provide individual, family, and group therapy for clients dealing with stress, burnout, trauma, change and life challenges. You will conduct clinical assessments, co-develop personalised support plans, and deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions that promote resilience, relapse prevention, and long-term wellbeing. You will work closely with the Consultant Psychiatrist, Wellbeing Services Manager, nursing staff, and wellness practitioners to deliver an integrated, person-centred model of care. Duties: 1. Conduct comprehensive assessments to explore clients’ psychological, emotional, and social needs. 2. Develop individualised, strengths-based recovery plans collaboratively with the MDT (Consultant Psychiatrist, Wellbeing Services Manager, and Nursing Team). 3. Deliver structured, evidence-based interventions, including: ○ CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) ○ DBT (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy) ○ Motivational Interviewing (MI) ○ Relapse Prevention Therapy (RPT) ○ Harm Reduction and Coping Skills Training Job Specifics Salary: £60,000 - £70,0000 per annum Working Hours: 5 days per week Contract Type: Permanent employment Requirements: ● Professional registration with BACP, UKCP, HCPC, or NCPS (full accreditation or working towards). ● Minimum 5 years’ experience delivering therapy for stress management, trauma, burnout, substance misuse, addiction, and/or co-occurring mental health conditions. ● Demonstrable experience using CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed approaches. ● Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse client groups. ● Experience working within a multidisciplinary healthcare or rehabilitation environment. ● Excellent organisational, note-keeping, and IT skills. ● Capacity for emotional resilience, empathy, and professional self-care.
