About The Role
Location: London. Pay: £13.65 per hour. This is a zero hours position.
As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for:
* Welcoming staff and visitors and creating a safe, professional atmosphere
* Conducting regular patrols and monitoring premises to prevent unauthorised access, theft, or vandalism
* Monitoring access points, CCTV, and handling security procedures
* Responding promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents, taking appropriate action as needed
* Completing detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any security concerns
* Assisting in emergency situations, including evacuations and first aid support if required
* Adapting to different client sites – no two days are the same
* Responding calmly and confidently to incidents or concerns
* Working as part of a diverse, supportive team

What We Are Looking For
* To hold a current DS SIA Licence
* Proven experience in a security role or a similar position
* Strong observational skills with the ability to identify and respond to security threats
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff, visitors, and authorities
* Ability to remain calm and act decisively in high-pressure situations
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
