Based out of our Finsbury Park office, you will be instrumental in overseeing the refurbishment and repair of our properties across the North London area, ensuring they are quickly and efficiently turned around for new occupants. This is a hands-on leadership role where your expertise will directly impact the lives of incoming residents. Your Mission as Voids Supervisor: You will be the driving force behind our voids process, ensuring properties are efficiently prepared for re-let. This involves: Team Leadership: Managing and motivating our internal team of tradespeople and external contractors working on void properties. Project Management: Overseeing the entire voids process from initial inspection to final handover, ensuring works are completed to budget and on schedule. Quality Control: Conducting thorough inspections of completed works, guaranteeing high standards of repair and refurbishment. Resource Management: Effectively planning and allocating labour, materials, and equipment for each void property. Contractor Liaison: Managing external contractors, ensuring their work aligns with our quality, cost, and time expectations. Compliance & Safety: Ensuring all void works adhere to relevant health and safety regulations and building standards. Reporting: Maintaining accurate records and providing regular updates on void turnaround times and performance. What You'll Bring: Proven Supervisory Experience: Strong track record of managing teams and overseeing property maintenance or refurbishment projects, ideally within a voids context. Voids Expertise: In-depth knowledge of void property processes, common repairs, and refurbishment standards. Strong Organisational Skills: Exceptional ability to plan, prioritise, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent Communication: Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills, capable of liaising with trades, contractors, and internal teams. Problem-Solving Abilities: A proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.
