Overview
The Paediatric Tier 3 complications in excess weight (CEW) service uses a holistic approach to treating conditions related to obesity in children and young people. Young people will receive 12 to 18 months of intensive treatment from the MDT with the aim to improving health complications linked to their weight. Referrals to CEW for young people aged 2 - 18 years old are based on the degree of obesity and the presence of comorbidities.
