Mission Overview
The Campaign Officer will help operate and scale our Connect Enterprise service, focusing on Premium Campaigns used by R&D teams in industry collaborating with universities, research institutes, and other partners. The role involves engaging with clients to understand their needs, creating briefs, exploring research landscapes for potential matches, managing networks of academic and industry professionals, and delivering reports to industry partners.
This is a fixed-term position for 12 months, with the potential for permanence.
Responsibilities
* Conduct in-depth desk research into scientific innovations to identify engagement opportunities in academia and R&D industry.
* Discuss research challenges and R&D requirements with leading client companies.
* Summarize inbound responses for client campaigns and prepare concise reports.
* Communicate client requirements effectively to internal teams and external networks.
* Cultivate and manage networks of academic and industry innovators.
* Plan strategically with team members for effective targeting and liaise globally with universities, academics, and R&D companies.
* Participate in teleconferences and email exchanges with stakeholders using strong communication skills.
* Work collaboratively to ensure projects meet deadlines and client expectations.
* Adapt to new challenges from high-expectation clients.
* Contribute to the development of Inpart Connect Enterprise.
* Perform other tasks necessary for business needs.
Qualifications
* Postgraduate degree in any STEM discipline; MSc/PhD in Life Sciences preferred.
* Confident and professional verbal communication skills.
* Excellent scientific writing abilities.
* Self-motivated with accurate record-keeping skills.
* Highly organized with effective project management skills.
* Ability to manage time effectively and meet strict deadlines.
* Capable of working independently and in a team.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and online research.
* Enthusiastic about understanding new research and translating it into commercial applications.
* Experience with CRM systems and document design software like Adobe InDesign is advantageous.
