Job Details
NHS LOTHIAN | UNIVERSITY HOSPITALS DIVISION | Therapy Services – WGH | Band 6 | Inpatient Oncology, Haematology and Lymphoedema | Physiotherapy | 12 months Temporary | 14.4 hours per week
Responsibilities
This post holder will be responsible for assessment and treatment of patients on the inpatient oncology wards at the Western General Hospital, and for managing a caseload of out‑patients, including those with cancer‑related lymphoedema, in the Edinburgh and Lothians area.
Qualifications
* Clinical experience of assessing and treating patients with neurological, respiratory, and general mobility problems.
* Experience in delivering acute oncology physiotherapy care.
* Experience in lymphoedema management.
* Postgraduate qualification in lymphoedema assessment and management is preferred; candidates without this qualification will be expected to complete a postgraduate certificate in lymphoedema practice if the post is extended.
