The role: You will design and deliver training, build career pathways, and implement development initiatives that equip their people to thrive. Working closely with leaders and teams across various functions, you will champion a culture of continuous learning, inclusion, and high performance, shaping the skills and capabilities that drive the business forward. The main responsibilities: Develop and implement a people development strategy aligned with business objectives across various functions. Design and deliver engaging training programmes: technical, soft skills, leadership, and compliance, both in-person and virtually. Lead training needs analysis, source development providers, and oversee the delivery of all L&D initiatives. Design robust induction processes, succession planning, career pathways, and development frameworks to nurture high-potential talent. Embed coaching frameworks and foster a culture of continuous learning, inclusion, and engagement. Manage apprenticeship, graduate, and internship programmes, ensuring alignment with industry standards. Evaluate and implement digital learning tools to enhance accessibility and track learning outcomes. Monitor and report on L&D programme impact, using data to drive continuous improvement. Lead initiatives supporting culture transformation, values embedding, and high-performance behaviours. The ideal candidate: Proven experience in similar L&D role, ideally within manufacturing or technical environments. Experience designing and delivering training programmes across diverse functions. The role focuses on ensuring that technical staff, engineers, and production teams possess the specialised skills needed for high-precision manufacturing, while also driving leadership and operational excellence. To lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of a comprehensive L&D strategy that aligns with manufacturing goals.
