Role overview
The Associate Director position is a key role within the Property Consultancy team. You will support Lexica with the overall business plan to grow and develop the Property Consultancy offering to the NHS, private businesses and the wider public sector, in conjunction with the Director and other property colleagues. You will contribute to a diverse range of property commissions for our client portfolio.
Responsibilities
* Manage a range of new and existing clients and contracts, take responsibility for generating new business and delivering income targets.
* Provide strategic advice to clients across a wide and varied property portfolio, aligning to their ambitions and creating a long-term, adaptable and sustainable estate.
* Support a multi-disciplinary offering to clients, working with Lexica’s in-house cost consultants, healthcare consultants, project and programme managers, town planners, sustainability consultants and digital advisors.
* Advise on asset management of complex property portfolios to enhance estate value, usage and performance, maximising long-term revenue.
* Support development options appraisals and associated cashflows to determine optimum use of the client’s estate, including broader development advice.
* Deliver Agency Services for property disposals, acquisitions and lettings.
* Provide consultancy on leases and manage ownership/legal title occupation; where necessary, manage client relationships with contracted lawyers and present business cases for investment and redevelopment options.
* Represent clients on wider property and estate issues in the community, including liaising with local authorities and regeneration partners.
Your contribution to our success
* Support the development and growth of the Lexica property consultancy service.
* Assist with the management of the team and provide guidance to less experienced team members.
* Deliver work within commercial expectations and prepare communications for Lexica and the client (verbal, written and presentations).
* Encourage collaboration with other service lines and maintain awareness of the big-picture cost and client relations.
* Ensure quality checks are performed on all work within the discipline or team and communicate confidently to varied audiences.
What we will be looking for you to demonstrate
* Relevant sector experience, ideally with a property consultancy company.
* Degree level education or equivalent and a relevant RICS qualification.
* Strong knowledge of the property market and wider economic and business context.
* Negotiation and networking skills.
* Self-management and ability to work within scope.
* Experience in managing a focused collaborative team.
