Your new role
* Working in a Data Centre environment, providing customer support ensuring Service Levels are maintained and the ticketing system is fully up to date
* Installation of server, network and storage hardware
* Performing cabling/patching duties of both copper and fibre
* Remote hands duties such as power cycling equipment, replacing failed hardware components, re‑seating networking cards, testing cabling
* Hours: 24/7 shift, 4 on 4 off (2 days 7am‑7pm, then 2 nights 7pm‑7am, then 4 days off)
What you’ll need to succeed
* Prior hands‑on technical/IT/engineering experience
* Experience working with copper and fibre cabling
* You must be able to pass security checks for this job, including SC and BPSS clearance
* Full UK Driving License and your own personal car is essential for this position
