Senior Pricing Analyst | Multiple opportunities across Risk Pricing, Retail Pricing and Telematics

The opportunity
You will be at the forefront of developing and evolving sophisticated, segmented pricing across our insurance products - directly influencing portfolio performance by delivering high quality analytical insight, refining pricing accuracy and driving measurable commercial outcomes.

How you will make a difference
1. Design and enhance pricing segmentation that improves loss ratio and trading performance
2. Deliver robust monitoring frameworks to track portfolio health and pricing effectiveness
3. Identify optimisation opportunities and drive continuous improvement
4. Partner with underwriting, commercial and data teams to influence strategic decisions
5. Contribute to the evolution of our pricing capability
Pricing Analysis & Segmentation
6. Developing, refining and maintaining segmented pricing approaches across products and customer groups
7. Analysing performance at segment level to identify pricing opportunities, emerging risks, and areas for optimisation
8. Creating and applying pricing adjustments or overlays where needed to improve accuracy and competitiveness
Market & Customer Insight
9. Keeping up to date with market, customer, and regulatory trends that may affect pricing strategy
10. Identifying new opportunities to enhance pricing segmentation or improve commercial outcomes
11. Supporting testing and experimentation aimed at improving segmentation effectiveness
Cross‑Team Collaboration
12. Advising stakeholders on the most effective use of segmentation and pricing tools
13. Working closely with colleagues across Pricing, Underwriting, and Product teams to ensure initiatives align with strategy and regulatory expectations
14. Translating analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for non‑technical colleagues
The skills and experience we’re looking for
15. Strong analytical skills with experience in pricing, modelling, or quantitative analysis
16. Good understanding of general insurance pricing principles, including segmentation and performance monitoring
17. Proficiency in analytical tools or programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL, R, SAS)
18. Ability to break down complex problems and present insights clearly and concisely
19. Strong stakeholder management and the ability to influence through evidence-based insight
20. Curious, proactive, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment with competing priorities
