Main duties of the job
* To maintain a professional manner at all times,developing the role of the midwife in the best interests of the profession andthe client in accordance with the NMC Code of Conduct and Trust Policies.
* Provide and perform high quality, effective,individualised care to all patients in a compassionate and caring way, in fastand challenging Emergency Department environment.
* Be dedicated to deliver a first-class serviceand be flexible to work across the Emergency Department.
* Monitor patients progression, work towards safeand timely discharge plans and ensure barriers to discharge are identified andacted on appropriately.
