What We Expect Assist the Head Chef in managing the kitchen and ensuring high-quality food production. Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to the restaurant’s menu and standards. Oversee the kitchen staff, ensuring effective teamwork and efficient operations. Monitor food inventory, maintaining stock levels and ensuring optimal food quality. Assist in menu planning and item selection while taking into account customer preferences. Enforce health and safety regulations in the kitchen to maintain a clean and safe working environment. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering their professional development. Collaborate with the front of house team to ensure seamless service delivery. Contribute to the creation of seasonal and special event menus. Handle any kitchen issues, resolving problems quickly and efficiently.
