Role Responsibilities
* Drive innovation and efficiency on the factory floor as the Packaging Technologist.
* Develop and introduce new packaging, ingredients, and processes that meet internal and external compliance standards while enhancing product performance, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.
* Lead projects from concept through to commercialisation, ensuring solutions deliver on quality, machine performance, and customer expectations.
* Contribute to large-scale factory investment projects, run production trials, and validate shelf-life.
* Identify the best packaging alternatives, support key development stages, and implement improved specifications to stay ahead of industry standards.
What It Takes / Qualifications
* At least two years of experience in a packaging-focused role.
* PIABC Level 3 Certificate in Packaging Technology (or equivalent).
* Ability to lead development projects from concept through to commercialisation and ensure packaging solutions meet standards for quality, efficiency, sustainability, and cost.
* Hands-on problem-solving, passion for continuous improvement, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
Hours of Work
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with core hours from 10am to 4pm.
