Job Description:
This is a full-time, temporary-to-permanent role with working hours from Monday to Friday, 10 am to 6 pm. These hours can be discussed for the temporary position but it will be these hours if made perm. The position is office-based in Warrington.
Our client is a leading provider of infrastructure support services, supplying construction and cable resources and expertise to organisations across the telecommunication, utilities, and construction industries. We are a friendly, office-based team located in Woolston, Warrington. We are looking for a hardworking and committed individual who can manage an evolving workload, work well within our team, and be proactive. You will have the opportunity to train and work across several contracts while growing and developing key skills. Training is supported, however, experience in our industry is preferred.
**Main Responsibilities:**
* Plan and schedule work.
* Request early starts/extensions.
* Schedule work to crews.
* Request safe digs for planned work.
* Inform and liaise with clients regarding work start dates and daily progress.
* Update client software/systems.
* Liaise with clients, field operations managers, and crews.
* Provide assistance to Project Management.
* Attend & chair where required weekly internal planning meetings.
* Respond to emails in a timely manner.
* Make and receive daily phone calls.
**The Ideal Candidate:**
* Strong communicator, with excellent organisational and administration skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Possesses accuracy and an eye for detail.
* A team player.
* Good communicator and listener.
* Able to solve problems on own initiative.
* Friendly and motivated.
* Proactive and open to learning.
* Ability to multitask.
* Knowledge of the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 is essential.
* Experience in planning, scheduling, and raising permits is essential.
**Salary and Benefits:**
* 8-hour day, with 7 paid hours and 1 hour unpaid for lunch/breaks.
* 28 days holiday, including Bank Holidays.
* First 3 months are a probation period.
