The school is a mainstream Secondary School with a supportive Social Science department. It is thriving and offers CPD throughout the year. The school has a 6th form, and they are ideally seeking a Sociology specialist.
The position is open to both ECTS and experienced teachers. Depending on performance, the school may extend the contract or offer a permanent position.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
* QTS or equivalent
* Minimum 1 year Social Science teaching experience in the UK
* Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
* Hold Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
* Provide two professional child-related references
