Overview
Parcel Delivery Driver. Job reference: 329672. Location: Hertford Delivery Office, SG13 8AB. Job type: Permanent contract. Hours: 30 hours per week, working 5 days across Monday – Sunday, with shifts between 08:30–14:30 and 09:00–15:00. Weekend work is required due to operational demand.
Responsibilities
* Prepare your van and workload for the day using route-planning technology tools to ensure parcels reach the right place at the right time.
* Deliver parcels as part of a multi-drop route and provide excellent customer service.
* Interact with customers as a positive ambassador for Royal Mail.

* Happy to work in the afternoon and early evenings.
* Enjoy a multi-drop driving role, delivering parcels across the week in the assigned area.
* Possess a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.

* A guaranteed hourly rate of £13.06 per hour (paid monthly and adjusted to your working hours).
* Paid overtime at an enhanced rate of 1.25x for hours over 40 per week.

Note on hours
Please note: Roles offering between 35–40 hours per week may be listed as full-time for candidate search purposes. Roles under 40 hours per week will be classified as part-time in the contract.
