Please see below for detailed job description of the role. “Please Note: This role is advertised internally and is open to staff employed on a UHS group contract of employment (including subsidiary companies: UEL, WPL, and UPL) AND for those currently working for the Trust via NHSP. This does not extend to those employed through any other agency.” Main duties of the job This is an exciting time to join the Dermatology Administration Team. We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive individual to fulfil the Patient Pathway Coordinator vacancy with-in our busy Dermatology Team. Your job role will mean that you will build a good working relationship with the Consultants, the rest of the Admin Team and Nursing staff. You will need good communications skills as you will be dealing with the patients by phone, email and face to face. About The Team The successful candidate will be joining the Dermatology Team at Royal South Hants. The post holder will be required to work Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am and 8pm, usual working hours 8am to 4pm (but you may be required to work an evening or weekend with prior notice). Detailed Job Description And Main Responsibilities Good standard of secondary education with literacy and numeracy skills demonstrable to GCSE pass level or equivalent standard. RSA 2-word processing/typing or equivalent experience. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word. Courses / further study attended to demonstrate evidence of personal development. Knowledge of medical terminology Administrative and organisational experience. Proficient in the use of all hospital computerised patient systems. Excellent telephone / communication skills. Able to learn and assimilate information quickly, with proven ability to work to deadlines, prioritise and multi-task.
