Quality Auditor | £27,973 base salary | Days only | Chichester
We are currently looking for a multiple Quality Auditors across our Drayton site in Chichester. They would be responsible for product food safety as well as quality, systems, processes, procedures & GMP to ensure they comply with the set internal and customer requirements and specification, including auditing and closure of non-conformances.

Key responsibilities
7. Ensure that the product quality & safety standards are always maintained and that the product that is manufactured meets the customer’s specification and is legally compliant in all aspects
8. Ensure that our factories are always audit ready and the strict GMP standards are maintained throughout the manufacturing site
9. Conduct scheduled auditing of safety, legality and GMP standards of the site
10. Carry out regular documented checks on all areas and lines of manufacture and packing, including paperwork checks to ensure correct completion
11. Carry out validation and verification of processes according to schedule
12. Monitor lines during production and report any issues in relation to quality or product safety
13. Carry out sampling, checks, tests, swabbing and other conformance requirements according to required schedules, including logging of samples into laboratory system
14. Conduct documented investigations and close out non-conformances, using root cause analysis
15. Prepare, audit and file paperwork for lines & mixing room
16. Set up and conduct daily quality assessments, including feedback and trending for operational teams
17. Control & documentation of on hold and other non-conforming products
Experience required
18. QA or similar experience working within the food industry, ideally experience in short shelf-life products
19. Food safety Level 2
20. HACCP
21. Basic understanding of Microbiology
22. Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and Food Safety compliance
23. Working knowledge of Auditing techniques
24. Computer literate, good oral and written communication skills.
