Consultant in Anaesthesia with a General Anaesthesia
University Hospital Hairmyres is seeking to recruit a consultant with an interest in General Anaesthesia. The appointee will participate in a dedicated on-call rota for General Anaesthesia, with a frequency of approximately 1 in 10.
The successful candidate will join a department of 22 consultants, undertaking 2.5 and/or 2 session days, covering subspecialties such as ITU, general surgery, robotics, vascular, ECT, orthopaedics, CEPOD, urology, ophthalmology, ENT, gynaecology, and pre-assessment. Any specific specialist interest can be accommodated.
The precise session configuration will be determined after appointment, with a job plan issued as part of the contract.
This is a full-time position on a 10 PA basis (including up to 2 non-DCC), but applications from those wishing to work part-time will be considered.
