Heath & Safety and Insurance Manager, Audio Reporting of the Role This role reports in to the Head of Health & Safety, Audio and Insurance Overview of job We are looking for an experienced practioner to support the implementation of Global's EHS Management System through health and safety, fire, safeguarding and insurance advice, guidance, management systems and training. Measures of success - In the first few months, you would have: Established a reputation as the "go-to" person for health and safety, fire, safeguarding and insurance advice. Developed strong working relationships with our operational teams by being approachable, knowledgeable and pragmatic. Implemented initiatives and managed projects that improve stakeholder engagement. Responsibilities of the role Support the implementation of Global's EHS Management System. Review creative briefs, proposals and plans to advise on suitable management controls. Risk assess complex creative activity and creating Event Safety Plans. Promote practical risk management by developing and delivering accredited and in-house training. Conduct assurance monitoring at Global premises and off-site activity. Investigate accidents and incidents, making recommendations and supporting managers to implement them. Deputise for the Head of Health & Safety and Insurance, in their absence. What you will need The ideal candidate will be proactive and willing to develop and implement innovative solutions, capable of the following: Personal Qualities A pragmatic and person-centred approach that adapts to a fast-paced creative environment. Ability to work autonomously to deliver effective results. Sound influencing and negotiating skills. Experience At least 3 years' experience supporting creative, media, broadcast, newsgathering, marketing and/or event activity. Experience of implementing initiatives and managing projects that improve stakeholder engagement. Good IT literacy with experience of working collaboratively using Microsoft Office. Qualifications A Health and Safety qualification that meets the academic requirements for Certified membership of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) or Membership of The The International Institute of Risk & Safety Management (IIRSM).
