Pensions & Payroll Finance Manager (6 months FTC)

Role: Pensions & Payroll Finance Manager
Reporting to the Head of Transactional Finance, you will provide timely and insightful financial information to the pension scheme Trustees and serve as a key contact for Trustees, Pensions Secretary, Payroll, and Finance teams.
This role offers the opportunity to influence perceptions of finance within the company and demonstrate the value of proactive, forward-thinking management information.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare Pension Scheme Trustee Reports & Statutory Accounts: Complete reports and financial statements in accordance with SORP standards.
* Complete HMRC Returns and ONS Surveys: Ensure submissions are made accurately and on time.
* Manage Financial Transactions: Oversee transactions, documentation, posting, and maintenance of pension scheme accounts, including investments.
* Provide FRS102 Calculations: Deliver annual financial calculations for schemes with investments.
* Manage Life Insurance Schemes: Handle scheme management and renewals.
* Financial Accounting for Payroll: Ensure accurate payroll accounting, including reconciliation and compliance with deductions and payments to HMRC and benefit providers.
Your Profile:
* Experience in pension scheme accounting is essential.
* Qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA).
* Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders, auditors, and professionals via meetings, calls, and written communication.
