Role description
Play a key role delivering tech‑sector mega‑projects. You will lead the delivery of one of our biggest data centre construction projects in the Nordics, managing all stages of hyperscale data centre construction projects from pre‑construction, construction, to close‑out/fit‑up.
Accountabilities
* Pre‑construction: Create and establish the Master Project Schedule and Master Project Budget, support contractor pre‑qualification, bid solicitation, bid analysis and contract negotiations, and identify, scope, buy‑out and schedule all owner‑direct vendors and consultants.
* Construction: Manage the general contractor and directly contracted vendors on the ground, coordinate value engineering efforts, develop budget management and tracking, and liaise with the client’s schedule management team to monitor and analyze schedule performance.
* Close‑out/Fit‑up: Initiate the close‑out process 2‑3 months before project completion, establish documentation requirements, collect and track all close‑out documents (warranties, as‑builts, O&M manuals, etc.), and assist with final inspections and occupancy processes.
Qualifications & Experience
* In‑depth understanding of large‑scale technical projects and construction techniques.
* Ability to manage technical disciplines and coordinate the work of other discipline‑specific owner representatives.
* Experience on data centre new‑build and refurbishment projects, preferably on hyperscale builds.
* Willingness to commit to significant international travel.
