Overview
We are seeking a detail‑oriented and experienced Bookkeeper / Accountant to join our financial team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the organization’s financial health. Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and reconcile the general ledgers of multiple companies
* Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
* Reconcile intercompany balances
* Manage bank and credit card reconciliations
* Record day‑to‑day financial transactions (e.g., invoices, payments, expenses)
* Posting journals
* Assist with payroll preparation
* Liaise with external accountants and auditors as needed
* Maintain and organise financial documentation
* Monitor cash flow and update forecasts as required
* Work to deadlines set by the board
Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience
* Minimum 1 year using Xero
* Proficient and experienced Excel user
* Good timekeeping and accountability
* Strong communication and organisational skills
