As the Global Senior Leader for Commercial Tools & Process Excellence, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategy, governance, and continuous improvement of commercial systems, processes, and tools across GE Power Conversion ITO (Inquiry-to-Order). This global leadership position will serve as the primary interface between business stakeholders and IT, ensuring alignment of tools and processes with commercial objectives and compliance requirements. You will oversee the management and enhancement of key commercial platforms, including Salesforce, Tableau, and Documentum, whilst leading process updates, standardisation initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration with Quality and Commercial teams. Job Description Key Responsibilities: Define, prioritise, and communicate business requirements to IT for the development, integration, and optimisation of commercial tools and platforms (Salesforce, Tableau, SAP integrations, Documentum, etc.). Lead the global strategy for commercial systems, including the evaluation and adoption of new Salesforce packages and AI-driven functionalities (such as Einstein and Wave Analytics), whilst enhancing executive-level dashboard and reporting capabilities. Oversee the end-to-end governance of commercial processes, including compliance management, approval workflows (Risk Process, Delegation of Authority), risk management, and process standardisation. Own complex projects relating to tool development and process improvement, ensuring effective coordination between business and IT stakeholders. Serve as the global process owner for Documentum, responsible for updating and maintaining all ITO-related processes and procedures; collaborate with Quality and Commercial teams to ensure alignment with business and regulatory standards. Drive the implementation and continuous improvement of commercial guidelines in costing tools (PCT), including treasury policies, FX risk, warranty provisions, transfer pricing, and order booking documentation. Champion process excellence and simplification by identifying improvement opportunities and supporting change management across global commercial operations. Oversee development and delivery of training, tutorials, and global communications relating to commercial tools and processes. Establish and maintain robust communication channels with regional and global commercial teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and transparency Provide support for ITO related reporting and insights through analytics and business intelligence platforms; ensure data mapping and consistency across tools (Salesforce, SAP, Tacton). Lead global communities of practice, manage workflows for tax/legal entity determination, and maintain directories and portals for ITO resources. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. significant experience in commercial operations, process governance, and IT/business systems management within a global, matrixed organisation. Demonstrable expertise in managing and optimising commercial platforms and tools (Salesforce, Tableau, CPQs, Documentum). Proven track record in process improvement, risk management, and compliance within complex business environments. Fluent English required; proficiency in additional languages is desirable. Strong project management and organisational skills; experience leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives.
