This dual role supporting both the reservations and event sales team is heavily administrative-based, requiring the successful candidate to effectively and efficiently deal with day-to-day enquiries, updating systems and taking payments for bookings alongside providing an outstanding customer experience reflecting brand and company standards. Key responsibilities of our Reservations and Event Sales Coordinator: - Ensuring all charges are raised and paid for following established procedures - Upselling bedroom types & other hotel services at every opportunity, ensuring accuracy of details on all bookings - To accept, process & manage meeting and event space bookings to ensure maximum revenue and occupancy - Developing and maintain good working relationships with all colleagues & clients - Dealing with any guest feedback or requests in a professional and efficient way This position is a full time role with a general Monday-Friday working pattern but may also require occasional evening/weekend work as required by our clients (for appointments, show rounds etc.) To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow: - Previous experience of PMS i.e. Opera - Organisational skills based around administration - Excellent time management and communication skills - A positive and approachable attitude with a commitment to delivering high quality customer service - Ability to work on your own and as part of a team - Fluent English both verbally and written About the Hotel Located in the heart of the Black Country, the Copthorne Hotel Merry Hill–Dudley sits peacefully overlooking the picturesque Canal Marina.
