The Role
This is a key hire for the team.
We are looking for an immigration lawyer who is comfortable leading client conversations from the first call and taking ownership of converting enquiries into revenue-generating client relationships.
You will shape opportunities from the outset — understanding what the client needs, assessing commercial viability, and guiding them towards the right solution. This includes building trust quickly, influencing decisions, and moving conversations through to instruction.
This role requires someone who is not only technically strong, but also commercially aware and confident in driving outcomes and revenue.
Key Responsibilities
* Leading initial discussions with prospective clients and understanding their hiring and expansion plans
* Assessing the commercial context behind each enquiry and identifying viable opportunities
* Advising on UK corporate immigration routes, including sponsorship and worker visa routes including Skilled Worker, Global Business Mobility, Creative worker etc
* Converting client conversations into instructions and long-term relationships
* Managing and developing client relationships at a senior level
* Identifying opportunities to deepen and expand existing client engagements
* Working closely with business development and marketing to refine client acquisition and conversion
What We Are Looking For
* IAA regulated immigration lawyer (UK or equivalent experience - 3 to 10 years)
* Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate immigration particularly sponsor licensing, sponsor licence compliance, with an emphasis on the skilled worker and global business mobility routes
* Conversant in Global Talent (typically Tech Nation) applications
* Experience in client-facing roles with exposure to advisory or commercially driven work
* Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders, including HR leaders, founders, and executives
* Ability to understand business priorities and translate them into clear, practical advice
* Strong judgement, communication skills, and professional presence
* A commercial mindset and interest in contributing to growth
* LLB preferred
