At Masterclass, we have been tasked with recruiting for a SEN teaching assistant for a wonderful SEN primary school in Worthing. They provide a happy and safe environment where their students can thrive in their education. They provide outstanding education to their students as well as encourage their personal development and interests, giving them the opportunity to succeed as well as remain independent.
Job role
* To support the children's development across all areas of their development
* Support and encourage positive behaviour management
* Work with groups of children or individuals (1-1) to support the class teacher in specific lessons
* Ensure a safe and secure environment enabling children to feel relaxed and happy
* To establish positive relationships with the children and staff within the school
* To be committed to inclusive practice and making sure every child has the chance to be the best they can be
* Provide personal care when needed
Training and CPD
Masterclass Education provide CPD recognised online training, covering subjects such as Safeguarding, Autism Awareness, Understanding Child Development, Violence Reduction, and more, to all of our candidates.
